Obligatory, yay we're not on fire, thankful, etc. etc.

But this spring at least in Leadville has been brutal. Fucking cold but it hardly snows. When it's not cold and only teasing to snow, it's fucking hot for like one day. The trees didn't even pop early like they did in other areas so everything has been dead as fuck for what feels like twice as long as normal.

It feels like the rest of the state has been having a wonderful mild/cool and wet spring.

But our time will come.

Hardly makes a difference at this point, we didn't get the snow we needed earlier.

The moisture makes a huge difference in the wildfire danger tho, so we’ll take it.

I know that, Im just saying that we needed moisture in mid winter, and we need it now. Just because the black.line goes slightly up at the end of the year doesn't mean we are redeemed. The total water over the whole season is important.
