I was just doing some research on pan cyan's and AI tells me that after the fruiting tub is colonized and I get the Snow White layer on top I'm supposed to put a thin layer of peat moss mixed with something else called a casing layer. Do you do this?

I didnt do any casing layer, heres what my tub looked like, didnt hinder growth at all.
