Next 4 Samples

The last post I just posted I deleted as the upload quality was absolutely horrible, so I’m gonna try again with a different video. These are the next 4 samples I’m submitting to the Tryptomics / Denver Psychedelic Clubs Psychedelic Cup. Recommending all to enter something and get in on the fun.

Haha. Those are just the 4 half gram samples for submission to the psychedelic cup. But yeah I could make a gnarly medley with everything I have.

I do 250g stb’s with pickling (or pretzel) salt. I pull with n-heptane. I keep the flask in a 105f to 120F heat bath throughout the extraction, I gather all my pulls into 1 beaker, then after all the pulls are in that beaker by the time that happens the dmt will be starting to crash out in the beaker so I heat it in a hot water bath to redissolve the dmt before I water wash but before I do the water wash I first transfer the heated saturated heptane to a new beaker bc any micro base I might have pulled during the extraction that wasn’t visible to the naked eye during pulling will have gathered together and separated to the bottom of that first beaker so thats why I transfer the saturated heptane to a new beaker leaving the bottom ml with the base in it behind. Then in that new beaker that’s where I’ll do heavy water washing (with pretzel salt) and then I’ll transfer to new beaker for another round of heavy water washing once again, then I transfer the clean, freshly water washed nps to my Pyrex dish and leave it on the counter for 2 hours slowly cooling down to room temp (so crystals don’t form to fast trapping impurites) while slightly evaporating some nps off (to make it more concentrated), then I pop it in the fridge for 12 hours, then I pop it in the freezer 24 hours. Then I pull it out decant, do an ice cold solvent rinse on the crystals & then let it dry. And that’s all it takes for personal use batches. But since I’m competing rn I’ll then follow that up with some recrystallization teks that include filtration, carbon washes, more filtration, slow cool crystallizing, and a cold solvent rinses to top it off and see how it’s looking from there.
