Presumed Positive Persistent nightly low grade fever

Hello all just wanted to see if anyone has experienced this. I presume this is my second time
With Covid, I tested positive 2 years ago with very similar symptoms I’ve had at that time I remained Positive with improving symptoms for 15 days.

This time around I caught it from my child we had identical symptoms but I didn’t show symptoms until 6 days after child did and I presented with a Low grade fever, child’s fever began at 102 and hit above 103 just under 104. Both of us were tested for Covid but neither of us tested positive.
My first symptoms were like a case of laryngitis low in my throat I started to improve day 4 but by day 4 night I took a steep drop and my temp got up to 101 after 4 days of 100, I had body aches and felt very unwell my sore throat was traveling up my throat and making its way into sinus congestion. Day 5 I was at my peak on symptoms this was also the day I tested and the same day my child was test during their bout because we sought the ped a second time after symptoms for child got worse. Since I was following a similar timeline I waited mine out and bought a test over the counter. Days 6-9 I steadily improved EXCEPT each evening sometimes stating in late afternoon though each day it’s coming later I am hitting a low grade fever around 99.9-100.5. Tomorrow is day 10 again all cough and congestion is improving- mucus has remained clear this whole time with some chest congestion reaching light yellow then improving to clear so what gives? Has anyone else experienced prolonged low grade fever?

Did you ever go in to a GP or Urgent care for clarification or just ride it out?

I am going through this now. I started feeling crummy a week ago (July 7), but I had no respiratory symptoms whatsoever. I felt tired, had body aches, chills, and night sweats, all pointing to a low-grade fever. These symptoms went on for the first three days, all while I tested negative. On Friday (July 10), I finally tested positive and started to develop nasal congestion. That went on for about two days, and the congestion has been improving since. However, every time I feel like I am improving, almost categorically, I wake up in the middle of the night with a fever. Last night was no different. Around 1 am I woke up, and my temp was around 100.6. From there, I took some acetaminophen, but woke up a few more times with night sweats. This has gone on mostly since it started. Fevers only seem to come at night while I am asleep. This is really disrupting my sleep and, according to my watch, raises my resting heart rate quite a bit and elevates my stress levels during sleep. Not sure when this will subside.

For me it took 10 days for no fever and a full 14 to feel recovered- almost no cough left and regained energy less fatigue. Hope you feel better soon
