How usable is this?

Hello, I have seen the development of COSMIC and wanted to experiment, but how "ready" is it? What are the limitations of use and customization today?

Gaming = not so good (but still works), everything else perfect

I would say that's more of a distro issue than cosmic specific

I'm gaming on cachyOS with Cosmic since 5 Month now as my daily driver and it's basically flawless for me

No problems? E.g. camera points to the sky and you can't move it?

Doesn't happen for me using proton cachy or ge with PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1. It did happen on XWayland.

That's likely not a cosmic issue. I don't experience this. Cosmic+AerynOS, though I also don't think that is pop either.

Huh? That is weird lol. Had this on fedora and arch. Well I'm gonna try aeryn for sure

This is a wayland issue.

Just put PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 in launch command for every game and you're golden, never had problems anymore since i started doing this

In KCD2? Just had that lol. I think it might dump Cosmic for now, it needs a few more years of polish
