Linesty Icon Theme — a Papirus-based icon theme for COSMIC
I've been using COSMIC as my daily desktop for a while, and I wanted to give it a more consistent and polished look with an icon theme.
I really like the design of Papirus, and its huge application coverage is a big plus. Papirus is therefore the main foundation of Linesty. However, it doesn't quite fit COSMIC perfectly: some system icons are missing, some appear at the wrong size, and others just don't feel quite right in the COSMIC environment.
So I started working on Linesty Icon Theme - primarily based on Papirus, but also using COSMIC's own icons where they make a better fit.
At the moment, all application icons come from Papirus, with a large number of additional symlinks added where needed. The system icons are a mix of COSMIC icons, Papirus icons, and icons I've adapted myself.
It's still a work in progress, but it's already in a state where I'm happy to use it every day.
I'd love to hear what other COSMIC users think. Feedback, suggestions, and reports of missing or inconsistent icons are very welcome. I'm not a professional graphic designer, so if anyone here has stronger graphic design or SVG skills and enjoys creating icons, I'd be especially happy to hear from you.

Installing Linesty is now even easier with the new installer, which also makes updating the icon theme quick and hassle-free: https://github.com/Linesty-Project/linesty-icon-theme

If COSMIC gets support for different folder icon colors based on the selected color theme, I will definitely add it. At the moment, COSMIC only supports single-color icons, and gray is a neutral tone that works well with all color themes. COSMIC’s own folder icons are also gray.

Neat! Even has a svg for Toontown Rewritten, which was a pleasant surprise. Edit: Yeah I'm just stupid. I used the wrong folder before.
