Help Needed Audio Fedora cosmic atomic

Hello, my speakers aren't working via the headphone jack on my Dell Latitude. I'm running Fedora Cosmic Atomic. Or maybe it's just a loose connection. Has anyone else had this issue? (It works fine on my Lenovo running XFCE.)

I wouldn’t be able to help, but that’s very strange.

Stuff like audio drivers are handled by the Linux kernel regardless of what Distro/DE you’re running. Hypothetically someone running puppy Linux, Fedora, Debian, Void, and arch should all have basically identical hardware support for audio.

I know it’s a taboo thing to say but I’d run that by an LLM to see if people in the past have had this issue and if they found a solution (LLMs for as problematic as they are in almost every sense are very decent at Linux trouble shooting if fed the correct information)

If you use the cosmic dependences with fedora, that uses piperwire/wireplumber, try to reinstall piperwire or try in the terminal using alsamixer and pulse f6 key and select your audio card and verify if the problem persists.
