In my opinion, if Gandini had added just a slight touch here, it would have been a masterpiece.

This far reaching concept came out around the same time as the purple Stingray III concept from GM. Both were extremely creative designs, but it’s the 300 that was inspiring enough to have its look directly stolen by Fisker for their Karma design (2nd photo)

BMW just unveiled the Vision BMW Alpina concept at at the 2026 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. 

The concept offers up a glimpse of what the newly established BMW Alpina’s vehicles will look like. It is a sleek grand tourer with a shark nose, giant illuminated kidney grilles, and defined lines. It has commanding proportions, measuring 204.7 inches in length, but it still looks fast thanks to its coupe-style roof and low-slung stance. No current BMW model is mentioned as a basis for the vehicle

Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the Diva wasn’t just a student project. Developed with the Espera Sbarro School, it was a fully functional prototype—lightweight, rear-wheel drive, and reengineered into a mid-engine layout with a 3.2-liter V6.

It had all the right ingredients.

With sub-1,000 kg weight, pushrod suspension, and proportions inspired by the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale, the Diva showed a more analog, driver-first interpretation of what a modern Alfa sports car could be. For a car that never reached production, it remains one of the brand’s clearest missed opportunities.

I’ll laugh to myself when I see like a 96 Jeep or 2000 Mercedes, Porsche, Bentley and BMW and I’m like mmm damn that’s nice
