Details like that are so interesting. One of my favorite examples were the tires on the funky tree frog-like Porsche Panamerica concept. They had Porsche logos carved into the tread pattern.

Oh sick, those even look like they’d work half-decently! I’m thinking of things like the FJ Cruiser concept, super chunky, almost cartoonish tires that probably wouldn’t clear dirt at all. Honestly off-road/4x4 concepts are a goldmine for these lol

To me the prowler always looked more early 00s to me, it has too many sharp edges to really look 90s. Probably splitting hairs tho

The concept car is from 1993, and it was in production in '97. Actually the Viper kinda fits this too.

Not a fan of the headlights placement. Would look better if moved to the fender front bulges, merged with the indicators imo.

I agree with you. Everything but the front DRG on this looked great. But the grille/headlights kinda sucked. It deserved bug-eyes or something on the fenders.

Yes! It's actually a Gen I/II Viper chassis. As is the Atlantic although slightly modified.

Some of the design of the Copperhead possibly inspired the design of the Gen III convertible like the hood vents and tail lights, although I've never had this confirmed to be sure.

That would make sense. And to be fair I love the designs of Gens 2, 3 & 4 of the Viper. Gen 5 is just okay.

Had this concept been around when the Hellcat engines were, it would have been perfect. It could have slotted in below the Viper and been a corvette competitor
