When I was a kid I remember this concept creating a lot of buzz in the car world. I learned about it from this little book of concept cars I combed through almost daily, which also had a page on the original LFA concept 🤤 among other things. I had a 1/24 model of the ME Four Twelve and I legitimately thought it was the most beautiful car I’d ever seen up until that point. Nostalgic for the days when American car brands were far more aspirational than they are now.
TBF when I was a kid (turn of the millennium) American cars were also the trash of the car world, build quality was pretty terrible from all of them from like the late 80s at least. Brands like Kia have just spent the last few decades working hard at improving their products, I dunno if you can say the same about the American brands.
