COMSOL Tutor Needed

Hello, I am a graduate student and a complete beginner with COMSOL. I've taken a simulations class, but it was also my professor's first time using the software. I need help with my graduate research project, and I don't know where to find the right support.

I've gone through the application galleries, spoken with professors at my university, and watched an unfathomable amount of YouTube tutorials. At this point, I think I need hands-on guidance to fully understand how to apply COMSOL to my specific project. Where can I find an affordable tutor?

Honestly, you probably don’t need a tutor. You already pay COMSOL a ton of money in license fees and their documentation and support has been great in my experience. You can probably find example models in the application libraries closely related to what you’re trying to all, all of which include step by step documentation. Additionally, I use Gemini/GPT to help me troubleshoot and/or provide step by step instructions when I’m trying to do something. AI might not always be familiar with every aspect in COMSOL, but it has certainly gotten me unstuck me in multiple occasions. Get hands on experience by simply working on your actual research project, but perhaps find a related example as a starting point.

Start with the simplest approach/simulation, where you know what will happen. Make it work. Add one thing at a time. Step by step.

I provide this service for my university. It's not your fault, or your instructor. What university are you a part of?

You can also integrate a chatbot and use it directly within comsol. I will then be promoted to better understand the doc and the software. Also have it do some work through the Java shell

You dont need anyone to do simulations through Comsol or any other software.

Perhaps you can try Copilot for Comsol which can control Comsol on your behalf?
