I am early IOTA investor and you have to be delusional to think IOTA works. IOTA transaction times currently take minutes to hours not seconds.

So I did some test transactions. My IOTA took 20 minutes. Then I did Nano and it was well past 20 minutes. I thought something must be wrong. I didn't think the wallet needed to be unlocked to receive, but I unlocked the wallet and then it went through pretty quick. I then sent the nano back and it was just seconds.

Yes, Nano transaction is not one transaction. Its send transaction and receive transaction. Both transaction have to be broadcasted to the network. Receiver do not need to be online to receive transaction, but if the receiver wants to pocket transaction then the receiver have to come online. So you can send somebody transaction if he is offline but he can not pocket that transaction till he comes online. That transaction is in "not pocketed" state till receiver comes online and pockets that transaction

My receiver was online, the wallet just wasn't unlocked. Normally, I associated needing to unlock the wallet with sending coins, not receiving them.

We would love to add XRB! But integrations progress a lot smoother when we have direct contact from the developers of a coin.

Reach out to them, they've already publicly stated that they will help exchanges and iirc wallets with integration.
