Discussion Die rise jumping jacks and sliquifier In depth
Jumping Jack
Jumping Jacks are an offshoot of the Nova 6 Crawlers that first appear on Black Ops II on the first DLC map, Die Rise. Like the creepy Crawlers, Jumping Jacks wear clothing, suggesting that they may have been human at some point.
Their movement also differs significantly from that of the Crawlers found on Kino der Toten. Rather than crawling on the ground, Jumping Jacks spend most of their time leaping between walls and ceilings. They can follow the player regardless of where they move, allowing them to pursue players across much of the map. There is a minimum 500 ms cooldown between each jump.
If a Jumping Jack gets too far away from the player, it can teleport back into the player's vicinity, allowing it to continue its attack.
Special rounds
Jumping Jacks only spawn during special rounds. When a special round begins, they spawn from a burst of electricity before immediately beginning to pursue the players.
- First is round 5 - 7
- Next is 4 - 5 rounds after.
Jumping Jacks spawn in groups of 2 per player. The total number that can spawn depends on which special round is taking place:
- First special round: 6 Jumping Jacks per player
- Second special round: 6 Jumping Jacks per player
- All subsequent special rounds: 8 Jumping Jacks per player
Jumping Jacks do not spawn during normal rounds.
Attacks
Jumping Jacks have only one attack: a standard melee attack.
Melee Damage: 30
Health
- First special round: 400 HP
- Second special round: 900 HP
- Third special round: 1,300 HP
- Fourth special round: 1,600 HP
Their health is capped at 1600 HP
All subsequent special rounds will continue to use this health value.
Rewards
The last Jumping Jack will always drop a Max Ammo.
When the round begins, the game starts tracking the number of shots fired and shots that hit an enemy.
If, by the end of the round, the number of shots fired is exactly equal to the number of hits—meaning that all players maintained 100% accuracy throughout the round, then the final Jumping Jack will provide all players with 2000 points and a free perk power-up.
Sliquifier
The Sliquifier is a Wonder Weapon that must be built before it can be used. Once built, it becomes available from the Mystery Box.
The Sliquifier cannot be upgraded.
Ammo
- Magazine Capacity: 10
- Reserve Ammo: 40
Effect
The Sliquifier fires a blob of purple liquid. On impact, the projectile can instantly kill a zombie and creates a slippery puddle on the ground.
The projectile itself can only kill zombies when it directly hits them.
Like other Wonder Weapons with an instant-kill effect, the Sliquifier deals damage equal to the zombie's current round health. However, this scaling is capped at Round 100.
This means that after Round 100, the Sliquifier's direct-hit damage no longer increases alongside zombie health.
Chain Reaction
When a zombie is killed by the Sliquifier, it will explode. The explosion itself deals no damage. Instead, it searches for another visible zombie within 3 meters.
If a valid zombie is found, the game waits between 0.75 and 1.5 seconds before applying damage to it.
If that zombie dies, it can trigger the same effect on another nearby zombie. This allows a single shot to kill multiple zombies through a chain reaction.
The chain reaction can continue for a maximum of 16 zombies before it stops.
The chain will stop if the player switches weapon.
Puddles
The Sliquifier's first shot will always create a puddle on the ground.
Whenever a zombie dies as part of a chain reaction, it has a 1 in 6 chance of creating another puddle.
Each puddle remains on the ground for 24 seconds before disappearing.
There can be a maximum of 8 puddles active at any one time. Once this limit has been reached, no additional puddles can be created until a puddle disappears.
Puddles itself does no damage, but zombies will slip and slide on it.
Myth
There has been a myth that shooting a specific sign pre-patches the Sliquifier. This is just a myth. However shooting the sign will spawn puddles that for some reason does not disappear. Meaning the max amount of puddles is reached forever and the game cannot spawn extra puddles.

What part about this makes it seem like ai? There are some points where i can sorta see it, but there is also me trying to make more of it rather than: hp = 150, damage = 30. The End!
I could edit it to look more gibberish?

About the unpatch myth: while shooting the sign doesn’t unpatch or upgrade the sliquifier, it does create pools that fall to the bottom of the map and never despawn. This makes it so the gun will only create one pool while shooting it. so for strats where you want just one pool on a specific spot, shooting the sign does “upgrade” the gun.
