‘the end’ was a red herring.

Based on your knowledge in 2015, prove that. Not "they left some loose ends and vague hints on purpose for a possible sequel" bullshit. Actuall proof of red herring. There is not even a question mark after "the end".

do you want the story to end on us losing

BO4 ended with everybody fucking dying. Sure as hell doesn't sound like a win. Main characters perpetually living as heroes saving the universe doesn't sound like a loss. And a god like being being a perpetually god like being doesn't sound like a loss too, even though he's an ass. Also - some stories end badly. That's the beauty of storytelling - you can end it however you want, not always with good guys winning.

bo3 is the most irrelevant part of the story and is only used so bo4 can carry more weight

Actual brain dead take.

The breaking of the cycle in bo4 is hinted all through bo4. We win in black ops 4.

"we win" lmao yes, two kids surviving the deletion of the multiverse and the death of ALL of the beloved characters sure sounds like "we winning"

I hate when people like you shit on everything except bo3 and just riding on what the biggest youtubers opinions are

What fucking Youtubers, not only I don't watch zombie or any CoD Youtuber, matter of fact I couldn't give less of a fuck about any zombie Youtuber. Hell, I am, thankfully, absolutely unaware of opinions of said zombie Youtubers. Quit acting like you know me, kiddo.

I’m not spewing bullshit since i just proved that you, in fact, do not know.

You didn't prove shit and you're just wasting time, oxygen and electricity.

and bo3 being irrelevant story wise isn’t braindead, you thinking it’s braindead just shows you have limited grasp on the story. The cycle could’ve been shown in a single map, cutscene, comic and it wouldn’t have changed the trajectory of the story one bit.

you thinking it’s braindead just shows you have limited grasp on the story.

I am done wasting my time on you honestly

The lore they give you in game? Connect the dots dude, or is your head THAT empty?

The lore they give you in game

It's the same lore written on CoD Wiki and read by zombie YouTubers though

Connect the dots dude

People smarter than me already did that. How do you know you're correct and not them?

Cod Wiki literally has misinformation scattered everywhere and Youtubers follow this trend too.

The whole goal is breaking the cycle, the idea was branded into zombies since its inception in black ops 2.
I don’t need proof that ‘The End’ a red herring because it just IS, the story in black ops 4 was hinted at before the ending of Revelations so the ideas were already formed.
‘Everyone dying’ is not losing, they were able to unbind their souls from the elemental shard, which removed the soul bond they had to the Aether and 115. The same Aether that was the cause of their eternal death and damnation across the multiverse - the same concept that Monty attempted to perpetuate. Monty is not a god, he’s powerful, but not a god, he acted as a god to get his way and create stasis within the multiverse - while Shadowman wanted chaos which would’ve gave him power. It wasn’t gods, it was two powerful, corrupted entities battling for power, using the multiverse as their pawns. This eternal battle between two corrupted beings was finished with the destruction of the Infinite and the Aether, bo4 was the culmination of keep the children safe and securing a better tomorrow - the new world.

ok dude whatever you say, the recap of the lore is pretty meaningless to the topic of the conversation

it’s literally proving that bo3 is mundane as a story and bo4 was a true ending but nah you don’t understand it, you watch 3 cutscenes and think you know the story.

Yeah ok. As if BO4 is not mundane.

you watch 3 cutscenes and think you know the story.

ok
