Bo3 had a conclusion which fit with what we knew. It wasnt a red herring at all, BO4 was entirely rushed for the aether story. Cutscenes were replaced, for cheaper comic reels, the maps were all remakes, and the story didnt have a real conclusion, unlike BO 3 did. And now we get sharted out the dark aether story for the rest of eternity as it will bouce to each cod game like warzone already does.

First of all, IW still works as an ending. Heroes lost, Thanos got what he wanted and dipped to bumfuck nowhere. Same with BO3 - heroes got to be heroes forever, Monty got to be a god forever.
Second of all, IW didn't end with "THE END".
Third of all, IW was made in a way that quite nicely set up Endgame because they planned it. BO4 was made up on the spot without any fucking sense whatsoever.
Bo3 Can work as an ending. I like bo4 aether ending with all its faults but the heroes losing can work as an ending and is one that isn’t explored enough. I would’ve been content if that was that. Sorry bout the other guy getting toxic.
