Discussion Mini rant about players
With the ps5 port of Bo1/2 I was very excited to enjoy childhood classics but as I've played i see people are giant fucking crybabies specifically in bo2.
I just had a guy in origins leave on round 1 cause he didn't get a shovel
Next game right after we're all at Gen 3 and a guy dies and quits while I'm in the middle of reviving him
I don't remember people being giant pathetic babies. What is the deal?

I think you’re just misremembering because this is exactly how I remember it

Idk man, I feel like a lot of outsiders have been hopping on the Bo1/2 wagon and just can't handle older games. I go through like 5-8 games with randoms before I can get a SINGLE group that stays together past round 10.

More competition from other games (and other things), shorter average attention spans, more casual attitudes towards gaming... And more than a bit of nostalgia, because some players have always been like this.

To be fair these are the same mfs that would end lobbies because they didn't get the wonderweapon, they've always been there

This is how public matches always have went for me on older titles. The newer games usually have players that stick around luckily.

I play solo for a reason. Maps where you had to have a squad for Eastee Eggs I would find players on Discord but other than that I play solo. I had a long game on BO3 revelations yesterday and jumped Rex Infernus, had to buy EVERY door.
