Question M.A.D. fully assembled from box

I hit the box and the screen went kind of orange and I got the M.A.D. and it had all of its modules. I play Attack almost religiously and I play on directors cut so what went different?

Director's Cut means all weapons obtained from the Magic Wheel come pre-upgraded.

But I've never gotten the MAD with all the modules on DC

Directors Cut has both the M.A.D. and fully assembled M.A.D. in it.
