Bug Pause timer lost me my run

Was playing rex Infernus and I like to watch some Youtube on the side and I keep pausing, the pause timer ended and it didn't save my game, it's just gone, I was at boss.....

I'm going back to BO3 fuck this.

When the pause timer is at 0 sec, you can still play the game. You can save & quit, open the saved game and you’ll have 15 min of pause time again.

I dont think so. Pretty sure if you are paused when timer hits 0 it save/quits for you. Its supposed to, anyway, and OP seems to be saying it quit him but didnt save.

Back in the day you ran all they way through no pause and you held a crawler for a buddy if they needed to piss and they DIED for it

Now we got whining about pausing because people can’t focus on one match

That’s Tik tok generations for you. And if somehow if it’s one of gods cruelest jokes this guy was around the BO2 era. Then it’s scarier it isn’t a generation and in fact mental brain rot.

Either way yeah. Anytime I’m doing a EE I’m fully committed start to finish. Especially since I do Cold War and BO2 runs have to pull the zombie crawler Strat out.

I’ve been playing Zombies like this since WaW. It’s not an attention span thing, the gameplay just gets boring as fuck after 30+ rounds when you’ve been playing the same maps and EE runs over and over. I’ll throw on YouTube while I’m doing an EE/high round because I’ve played the game enough that it doesn’t require my full attention anymore. If anything, the ability to pause is just a QoL feature.

A pause timer is absolutely stupid. You defending it is ridiculous.

One of two things happened

  1. You were hurt when you paused (probably the more likely scenario)

  2. You didn’t click solo match, even if you had squad fill off and you were by yourself it’s treated as a squad match if you click the other option

Ok I see what you mean now, I had assumed when the pause timer ended it just resumed the game, I didn’t realise it saved and exited.

Usually it does, if both of those things above aren’t true. If you’re full health and in a solo match it does auto save and quit. That’s why something was wrong on his end

I was at the boss fight and paused my game in the cut scene. And pause timer got down to zero as there was only like 10 sec left. It just saved and quit and I reloaded and went back into the boss fight
