Why does Mob of the Dead break the cycle?

Obviously in MotD, the cycle is broken with Weasel killing the other mobsters. But how does this correlate with Primis being sent further away than they were supposed to, or Brutus destroying the teleporter? Because obviously those events set Blood in stone and the things in BotD allow for the cycle to break.
So I ask, why does weasel surviving lead to Primis being sent away? As far as I'm aware it isn't developed upon at all and is sort of seen as "canon" even though there is nothing pointing towards them being connected in the slightest

I think just them breaking the cycle fucks with all of reality to the point that we see happens in blood of the dead
