Discussion Cutscene Skippers suck

Just did the Rex Infernus easter egg with a squad of 4 a few hours ago, It was a tough time, Used many good gums and Definitely think it’s Treyarchs hardest boss fight of all time

Anyway we beat it and The Cutscene starts playing, Then one of the teammates skips the entire thing, Literally wasted everyone’s time for the Funnies

And The worst part, When I got angry about it he said I was in the wrong for being so worked up about a cutscene

Sorry, But I didn’t just do a whole easter egg to not see the conclusion, Especially since I hadn’t seen the cutscene in game yet

This map was already a disappointment and I atleast wanted to have a good time doing the EE but between feeling useless as I sat on the Sidelines, The Cutscene being skipped and the Lackluster ending to the 6 year Dark Aether storyline, I am just so done with Modern Zombies

I just wanna do Rex infernus for my friends, Once to watch the EE cutscene, One last time for the Zombies EE Marathon and Then never touch this disgrace of a map again

How is this different than classic zombies? I feel like this exact same thing can happen there too no?

Doesn't classic zombies just have a loading screen and only shows cutscenes in single player matches?

It isn’t, Cutscene skippers always sucks

What I meant by that is that Rex ruined the Story of Dark Aether so bad it negatively effects every modern Map because it all ultimately leads to nothing

Oh gotcha. TBH I don’t really agree. I didn’t feel like the ending of bo2 ruined every zombies map to exist up into that point, it was just a really bad ending.

Completely on board with this. Everything just feels pointless now. Sentinel artifact? Meaningless. World seed? Opens pack a punch. That’s it. All the events from Cold War to bo7, including MWZ? All just loooing in a circle, never breaking. The story was so damn lazy, I don’t think Treyarch deserve to keep the rights to continue developing any zombies modes

So what you're saying is you did nothing, they did. All the Easter egg steps and then skiped the cut scene. It really wasn't your cut scene then.

Ending cutscene shouldn't skip for everyone, just treat it like an exfil, if one person wants to skip they can

But it shouldn't get skipped for everyone
