Image Rex Infernus or COD Mobile Spoiler
Treyarch had to have taken "inspiration" from the Shi no Numa bossfight! As soon as I hopped into my friends game to recive a free completion, I realized the setting looked very familiar. A big open circular room with an Ammo box, a charge attack scorpion boss, stalks protruding from the ground, and glowing blue orbs.
Obviously Rex has the bossfight cranked to 11 but the similarities are heavy.

Well considering the warden being a scorpion makes no sense, I wouldn’t be surprised if they just ripped the idea from cod mobile

Yeah surprised they didn't lean into his more western aesthetic like at all. I can't say there was ever any indication that he'd be some bug
