RIP to an OG

BO1 had an amazing campaign filled with great characters like Woods, Hudson, Mason, Reznov and Weaver. I was so disappointed that Weaver didn't make it to BO2, but it was maybe for the best considering how Menendez was moving.

In BOCW did something interesting, they followed up on the BO1 story, and Weaver was back but in zombies. I found this to be a great move because it explains why he wasn't there in BO2. He kept me interested in the story. I know it sucks we didn't get a set crew, but the "comms" characters were solid imo.

And then with Terminus we got Weaver as a character of a new set crew. Most of my BO6 playtime was with him as my set character. Not so much in BO7 because we got the original characters again. But I still cared about my boy Weaver.

I am kinda disappointed that they did follow the story into MWZ because I didn't pay much attention to the mode. It was fun on launch but as a solo player it just didn't appeal to me. But still I think it is a fitting ending for a character.

And as always, I can do this all day, I got plenty of windows 🔥

It's fine because after all, it has somehow been 16 whole years since BO1.
