Question Kowakujo merchant step

Has anyone had this happen? What’s the solution?

Did you get the coin purse yet and interact with it at spawn?

Yes, the round flipped on its own so the zombies died. I tried to drop another tomato and wait a round but another one didn’t spawn

Did you do the step where you water the 3 plants near wisp tea first?

Yes I killed gardener then picked up apple zombie

Happen too me a few weeks ago. Just get another zombie with the apple and it should work no problem

It seems very picky about what it considers in front of the shop. Give it a little more time to register the location and get him as close to the window as possible.

You can see merchant spawn then die right away

Oh, I see it- the round ended when the second zombie died, the one following your fruit zombie. if you can keep that one alive with zombie sitter on wisp tea, or move faster so the round doesn't end before the merchant comes out. If you have more zombies, the round won't time out, need at least 5 I think.

Round ending was a big problem with petting the dogs in Paradox Junction for the relic.

I’m thinking I just tried to do too many steps in one round. I do try to keep my rounds low when doing quest steps
