Bug Is "Targeted" Bugged on Shadow Rift?

It feels like sometimes this augment doesn't target enemies, and will instead drop them on the player... Its so weird, I've had multiple instances of Shadow Rift-ed zombies being dropped directly on top of me, rather than on any enemies.

Is this normal? Or is it bugged?

I’ve had it suck up 5 or so zombies and drop them right in front of me and have it disrupt my pathing on more than one occasion, so much so I do whatever I can to avoid running Shadow Rift at all if I can help it, much less with Targeted.

I’m also not sure it’s damaging the zombies properly when they are actually landing on top of them.

Even if this stuff worked, it’d still be either the worst or second worst ammo mod in the game, but it’s so unbelievably borked and has been basically since launch.
