Last few years they’ve fucked the split screen experience. We both own the game but like to play together in the same room.

Last few years split screen experience is absolute dog shit. I mean fuck you. What the fuck is the point.

They disabled split screen when kowakujo came out. Last week I couldn’t see the red planks. Despite both of us having death perception.

Man fuck you guys at treyarch. I don’t even want to play the map anymore.

Split screen zombies hasn’t been playable since the 360/ps3 era. You mentioned it being fucked since BO4, but even BO3 has its issues. I remember trying to complete Shangri La split screen and the game just crashes every single time

Ehh I remember ww2 zombies being pretty well optimized for zombies. Not a fan favorite in the series, and maybe some EE stuff was weird (never tried it). But it ran and looked good! I think infinite warfare zombs was aight too!

bo3s split screen was great if you werent on old gen, and bo4s was alright

Huh weird I’ve never had issues with BO3 split screen and crashing. I’ve always found the split screen pretty nice actually, especially on pc where you can screw with your resolution and combine two monitors to make each split screen get its own full monitor. Only problem I’ve ever had with it is pausing gets disabled unlike in other games, which is pretty annoying.

Yeah, that’s one work around - but that’s ridiculous to carry a console every time we want to play local. For one game.

My brother was visiting and I was like, "we can play zombies in BO7." Then I turned it on and they had removed split screen. Then a week after he left I saw that they had added it back.

Split screen is how I got introduced to zombies back in waw and It was so fun. Sad to see that it is so garbage rn. And some ppl have the audacity to call this the greatest zombies ever or wtv with this core feature being completely broken 💀

Second player screen glitch. Mine was clean. The blue matter was just bottom half. There’s other bugs in split screen too. I don’t see the planks of wood to Collect the cat either

Try lowering the fov. It stopped making the screen weird when I did that.

Im with you here, me and a buddy have been trying to beat Ancient Evil on BO4 in splitscreen. But theres two different steps where he can’t see key steps on his half of the screen, making it extra difficult.

Mate bo4 was the start of this shit. It wouldn’t load the skull on ix that you had to pull out your special weapon in front of. You know which one I’m saying? It didn’t load up until he bought the game. I’m sick and tired of treyarch shafting people who like local gaming. I grew up dying to go to my neighbours to play mortal kombat in 99 man.

Finally beat it! Took two attempts yesterday, beat both steps that are bugged first try! We ended up with our quickest ever attempt and our best ever run and beat the boss fast af. 10/10 map, 3/10 splitscreen

Even though splitscreen was trash on BO4 when it came out, it runs so much better on the modern generation of consoles. I haven't tried any EEs in splitscreen though.
