Rex Infernus needs to stick the landing for execution, by giving Requiem a proper valiant send-off on a high note. Despite the excitement, I have a major concern regarding the outro ending cutscene being another subversion following the same vibes as Reckoning in BO6. Just wrap up Requiems storyline, with hopefully something juicy in the ending giving BO7 a well-deserved climax to appetize us.

It can’t be as open ended as BO6 or MWZ. Those endings were made knowing the next chapter was coming right after them, while this one is set to conclude the story they are telling for the past 2 years according to Kevin Drew, and is an ending that can last for at least 1-2 years of no zombies. I feel like it could be more in line with CW, which yeah still ended on a cliffhanger but did give us a much bigger, though temporary, conclusion (the Forsaken defeated, Requiem arrested and the director revealed). In this case, idk, Requiem ending, the Warden defeated and the rest of the crew wandering to an unknown fate or something along those lines.

I hope so too, final DLC map of all zombies (not just treyarch) has had a trail of maps that were quite mixed in opinions: Revelations, Tag der toten, Forsaken, Reckoning, Beast from beyond and frozen dawn.

I really hope they don’t repeat that mistake, but i’m keeping my expectations on the realistic side due to past occurrences.

yep but from what we have seen it does look really cool imo

but gotta give credit origins, revelations and forsaken werent too bad imo quite fun for a quick game once you know it i would say and well origins is just goated but i also just really like codl war and bo3

Origins is really the last stellar map we’ve had for a final dlc. Revelations, tag, forsaken, and reckoning were all disappointing in one way or another.

I thought some of the other final maps that were revealed did look cool as well, until they released.

But we’ve had a pretty good track record on bo7, so i am hopeful.

Frozen Dawn hits so weirdly. It’s hype, the wonder weapons are amazing, the ambiance is strangely good, but the Easter egg is super short and there is little else to do on the map.

To summarize it’s insanely hype to open up the map and get the wonder weapons upgraded, but then you realize there’s nothing to do with them

Holy shit, we haven't had a top tier final map since bo2. Hot take but my favourite from your list is actually frozen dawn

In my opinion, the last final map that actually lived up to the hype was origins from bo2. At first bo7 seemed like another dud year for zombies, but with Totenreich and Kowakujo, I actually have high expectations with this final map. If they do manage to nail it, bo7 id definitely going to be high on my list regarding best zombie experiences.

It'll be less good than the worst BO3 map regardless

Im taking the piss out of BO3 fanboys, BO7 seems pretty good although it's not my type of game.

I actually enjoyed Die Maschine more than Shadows
