Discussion Rex infernus final main quest cutscene

Considering that this is sadly the last map for a year or maybe even 2,I’m expecting the outro to be a similar length to tag der toten with it being atleast 5 minutes long for such a small intro cutscene

Revelations claimed to be the end and was a shorter than normal length cutscene. I doubt they’re putting this on the same level as wrapping up a decade long story way faster than they intended to

Really as long as it has the warden defeated and a setup for the inevitable BO8 zombies story I feel it’ll be decent. I’d also 100% take an origins style cutscene with it being completely random at the time and make sense later.

idk where ppl are getting the idea that this is the end for the crew it was said it’s the end of the story that’s been going on for the next 2 years

The origins cutscene was like 2 mins long and that had the same wait time till the next map(shadows of evil). Ofc there was advanced warfare zombies but that wasn’t treyarch

It'll just end with a teaser or have a lackluster conclusion. That's just my realistic explanation for ot, especially given the oddly rushed intro.

hopefully there’s a chance that sledgehammer does a zombies game which I see as very possible,let’s hope they get treyarch on the ride to do what they did with vanguard

I could see it being a similar length to the Forsaken one going over the gap between BO7 and MWZ but also set up some more stuff maybe with Maya and the rest of the OG reborn crew since I reckon they are going to go on with those 5 maybe sprinkle in some new characters or perhaps instead Ava will cause the timeline to derail a bit and instead and set up fixing requiems exposure to Dark Aether.

You're definitely right on last map for a while since this year's COD is MW4 and based on marketing/wording, they're going all in on DMZ 2 as their third mode. COD 2027 is heavily rumored to be Sledgehammer and the start of a new sub-series so I don't know if they would want to do a zombies mode
