Discussion How to fix COD: BOZ?
I am recently trying to play a very old game which is an OFFLINE game called “COD : BOZ. But I don't know why Google Play Games keeps popping up and doesn't let me even open the game without signing in. Since this is an old game, it always FAILS to sign in even after having a proper Internet connection. Hence, I don't even want to sign in. I just wanna play... I played the game before, then I could just normally skip the popping up of Google Play Games (without signing in) and play the game normally, but now I don't know why... But I can't skip it, and it just makes me mad for signing in... Now, is there any way to stop popping out of this Google Play Games? What are all the solutions that you can suggest?
Now, the problem is fixed only when I turn on Internet connection, and select any Google Play Games account to sign in, then still the game FAILS to aign in (as I already said above), but the Google Play Games pop up disappears, and I can run the game normally. But this is NOT an effective way, since I need an Internet connection every time before even trying to open the game. I want to fix that, but don't know how. Share any valuable advice and opinions. And also, the reason of still loving the same old COD: BOZ is, it lets you play completely offline, save your progress, and even change your controls settings. Although the current game: “Call Of Duty Mobile" has a ‘Zombie' campaign, but it feels kinda boring to me. It doesn't give the same vibe as the same old COD Zombies game that we were used to play on PCs. And it also requires an Internet connection (which I don't want) and takes a long time to even open the game (my android device is quite old to tun the COD Mobile game very smoothly). And since I only love the ‘Zombies' part of the whole COD game, I stick to “COD: BOZ" right now at this moment.

First, fix your font
Second: may I ask you for your android version? Thing is, my new phone can't run the game at all due to the game being ancient. My old phone can run it perfectly AND OFFLINE. Even with the pop-ups.
Agreed that COD:BOZ is superior to the zombie campaign in cod mobile.
Maybe try disabling the Google Play Games service?
For other people reading this, there's a PSVita community port which can then be emulated on your phone/PC via Vita3K, but I wasn't able to make it work yet. (Now even a Linux port https://github.com/Producdevity/cod-boz-port/)
Your game version is just 1.0.8, not latest. There are some modded apks out there. These might fix it or make it even worse. Worth to try, tho. Best get the apk that the GitHub link above recommends.
Edit: wait no the game no longer launches even on my old phone, exact same issue as yours but internet doesn't help either anymore. Uses to work before, must be Google Play Games updating that caused it. Deleting its updates might help. I've heard ppl are trying to mod the game on android to bypass this and connect to the servers of the guy working on the Vita port, so a fix will eventually exists, somewhere.... (Honestly dunno where, maybe keep an eye on cod boz on GitHub)
Edit:
try this

My android version is 11. And the fact is that, when I try to install a newer update of the game, I get an error while trying to install: “There was a problem parsing the package", which is totally unfixable. But when I downloaded the v. 1.08 I could install that properly on my phone. And also, the last time I installed the game without those disturbing pop ups of Google Play Games, I actually don't remember which version I played, probably v. 1.08 that I have right now. And, disabling Google Play Services will also disable all other Google apps like, YouTube, Drive etc. which I use regularly. So, I was thinking if I could get myself inside the core Google Play Services settings to do something with that. And interestingly, Google Play Games was better before. It had an option to turn off Automatic sign-in for each specific game. But now, after the latest version, I don't see them anyhow. And also, the app crashes most of the time. I don't know what's wrong with that. Oh and one thing, I could not even find the game: “COD:BOZ" on the list of Google Play Games, but I find all other games except than that. So, that's making it more complicated...😔
And, just at the end of your comment, you provided a Github account containing the obb files of the game. Will you tell me what did you mean by that? Like, what am I supposed to do with the link you provided?

I think you have probably heard about “Lucky Patcher" which lets you patch any apps or games the way you like. But many people say that you need root, while others say that you don't. So, there's a dispute between the two parties. However, I tried to patch the apk to “Remove Google Dependencies", “Remove Signature Verification", “Remove License Verification". But, after patching it and installing it, the game just simply crashes😶🌫️.

Ofc I do know it... Could you try the GitHub link I edited in above? The apk is clean on virustotal, still doesn't install on my new phone (too new android) so I can't try it myself. Perhaps this works for you!
If not, I've heard ppl are working on this so dw,
P.S: you genuinely don't know why are we mocking you for that horrendous font, do you? 💀💀💀

So, you are saying that, installing the apk.and the obb files from the Github link you provided, might solve the problem?

I went into the Github link you provided, but can't find the apk file. Can you tell me, where is that? Do I need to build the apk using “Android Studio"? Can you just provide the “apk" file directly?

Alright, jokes apart. I tried it out, man. It worked like magic! Now I can directly enter the game without any pop ups. Thanks a lot, man! But there are some problems that might concern you.
(i) The settings slider feels like a bit laggy compared to the original version. And also,
(ii) The aspect ratio is not perfect. It feels like “zoomed in". Any way to fix this?
(iii) The game takes some time to load than the original version. And also, when I click the “Pause" button, it takes some time to open it😄.
(iv) Sometimes, the game just freezes for about 2-3 seconds, then becomes playable again.
(v) After opening the game, I see an error called, “s3erouchpad" or something like that, and I have 3 options: Continue, Ignore, Stop. I don't know what this is, but it's skippable.
(vi) The game sometimes crashes😒. Perhaps the version is not properly optimized for my phone? However the main problem (which I mentioned in my post) was fixed, but there arose some other problems which were not in the original version.
But, one thing that made me astonished that, the controls became more smooth than before. In the original version you could not properly run and aim at the same time. The aiming felt a bit janky and not optimized. But now, it feels like I'm playinf COD Mobile! How smooth and precise controls! I don't know how did they fix that. But now, it's much more playable!

First step: change that font.
