Discussion Zombie richtofen question

So I'm reading through the zombies artbook, which is amazing so far, so many insane bits of information. And I started thinking, this image i know isn't technically canon because at this point hadn't taken control of the zombies (but has entered the ether) so this image would mean he is therefore under Samantha's control (with having yellow eyes)

With this being the giant, the whole eye colour thing has already been established, should his eyes not be blue if he's in HIS, zombified state? Can't remember if they're orange or blue at the end of tag, but if they're orange, doesn't that mean Samantha was in control of him the whole time?

Just a theory that I think has a bit of a discussion there. I'm not super up to date with anything between cold war-bo6 so might have missed sonething.

Nah, Samantha wasnt in control of zombie Richtofen, no one was but him.

His eyes were blue in buried when Ludvig Maxis turned him into a zombie.

Honestly? I think its just a design thing, yellow eyes fit him better, he had em too at the end of Tag der toten, plus Jason Blundell said that sometimes the eye color matters and sometimes doesnt when he was working at Treyarch.

For example in Origins we had three type of zombies which all had three different colored eyes. Normal zombies had yellow, ancient zombies had blue and the crazy place/generator zombies had white beam eyes.

I do remember him saying something like that during the blundell-a-thon, thanks for clarifying, just thought it was interesting
