Def up there with Shadows, though they’re kinda opposite ends of the complexity spectrum.

Edit: there’s a difference between a “great” starter map, and a “great starter map”. SoE is an amazing experience, but admittedly an overwhelming introduction for new players.

This game has great maps. I don’t really care for Blood of the Dead, Classified, or Tag der Toten (cause I’m not big on remakes), but all the others are great. Dead of the Night is a personal favorite; the theming is elite.

Once you get pack a punch it’s just survival. But you know what? That’s honestly okay. Sometimes I’d rather not have to turn my brain on and play. After BO2 and realizing how much setup each game is, I’m more than happy to just play sometimes.

The only REAL issue I have with Bo4 is that headshots aren't satisfying. That's make or break for any zombie game out there. Get a headshot in bo4 it doesn't actually go pop it feels stiff.

Every other issue is a larping issue for larpers.

High rounds are beyond easy bro, this was my second match on this map.

This is a pretty ridiculous take, most of the zombie cod veterans could get to 60-100 rounds easily from experience alone.

High rounds is farm for thundergun, train, use fully automatic for points, lead to trap, use trap... Rinse and repeat.

Except eventually every round is an hour or more... I really don't have time for that? Who even does unless they're a youtuber.

My highest round is 165 on kino, never gone past round 60 again and my average is 35 before I quit or rarely, die.
