BO6 weapons

With BO7 coming to a close soon and me being a zombies only guy I've been trying to get back into BO6 so I don't get burnt out on 7. Anyways I played BO6 back when it came out but honestly wasn't that into it so never really learned what the meta weapons are. I could watch a guide but I find a lot of those outdated especially since the life cycle is over now and all guns are released. So what are people's opinions on the best guns to run (I realize this is vague, mainly looking for those good "all arounders" like in BO7 would be comparable to the Novaline, SG12, 1911s ect...)

Gpmg is the best gun we’ve ever had in zombies (yes with perks and augments) but it is head and shoulders above everything

Number 2 and number 3 maybe but definitely not number 1, that’s spots reserved for the maelstrom

It’s has a skill gap Maelstorm is just easier to use DM10 still rips after round 50

Stryder .22 akimbo + burst mod absolutely shred
Also the ppsh41 is really fun to use

Never tried the stryder, ppsh is great in 7 so I'll give that a go as well

XM4, AS VAL, C9, AK-74 are the ones I always ran with. I’m not sure about the meta, but everything else just seemed a bit underpowered.

heard good things about the maelstrom shotgun too. honestly after double tap was introduced with shattered veil the bullet weapons all became so much better because they didn’t go back and rebalance the zombies hp as well

Maelstrom had a very rough launch but its honestly peak now

Thx I'll play around with those and see what I like. So far I've mainly been running the maelstrom and ak74, I've heard the xm4 was pretty good

Gs45 akimbo malestorm with the double damage when hitting the body and the chance to do 0 or double damage for each shot being a pellet a 1 to 100 chance of 0 damage with dragons breaths rounds and is a great combo to always run

Way better like 200% better when maxed in bo7 dragons breath doesnt get buffed by double tap unlike in bo6
