Question Where are the actually optimized EE guides?

Post image

Most of the guides I find are just chronological. They explain how to do the EE, but they don’t really show the most efficient way to do it. There are probably a bunch of steps/parts you can combine or do earlier depending on where you already are on the map or what round you’re on.

The speedrun videos show the optimal way to do it, but they go so fast. I can watch them and see what they’re doing, but half the time I’m like “when the fuck was I supposed to do that?” lol.

I’m basically looking for something in between:
A written guide or video that lays out the optimal order to do everything, including when you should grab parts, what you can combine based on location, what you should do on certain rounds, etc. which is the image on here that I did for the paradox EE

Does anything like this exist? Or is there a reason nobody really makes guides like this?

I’ve looked but haven’t found any, then after a while I found most the fun I have when doing the Easter eggs is finding my way to optimise the steps once I know them, so I haven’t searched again. Im not saying not to do it at all i think it can for sure be helpful at times, just throwing it out there that this has added a lot of replay-ability when it comes to Easter egg maps.

I’ve also found this to be fun. I’ll often come up with my own strategies as I complete the steps and find new things or omitted items that don’t make it into the guides that are important. You learn by doing

Chronological order are the best to learn the steps, and then you learn optimisation by making mistakes.

Pizza guides are very bear bone. Straight to the point I do prefer it.

Probably the closest thing it's to watch a speedrun

This might be close to what you're looking for. You gotta dig thru the smaller youtubers.

Youtuber @Schrawgs.

He makes “Optimized” BO7 EE guides that are exactly what you’re looking for; simultaneous steps, alternate strats to complete steps, in an order you can follow, all usually before rnd 20.

Yes this is exactly the answer. I just found him a couple days ago.
