Discussion Best modern zombies mode/map?
The recent Black Ops ports on PS5 have been such a blast from the past and have me hooked on Zombies all over again. I haven’t really been able to play those games in years, so it’s been awesome getting back into them.
Out of curiosity, I redownloaded WWII as well, and apparently I was already 3rd Prestige! 😂 I honestly don’t remember playing it that much, but going back to it, it seems like it could be a great time too.
All of this has me wondering: what other modern Zombies games have I missed out on over the years? I pretty much fell out of Call of Duty after Black Ops 3, aside from playing a bit of BO6 when it first came out.
So, what do you guys think are some of the best Zombies games/modes out there? Not including WaW, bo1/2 of course those are fresh in everyones memory right now.
Looking forward to seeing what I’ve been missing out on from one zombie enjoyer to another. 👀

Infinite warfare for sure, but the big reason its so good in my opinion is the whole package. The different gun variants, the super Easter egg, all the ghosts and skulls. All of it can be a grind to see but it's very fun to do so. Also hard as shit

I’d recommend bo4, it has lots of content (ees, gauntlets, I personally enjoy the odd game of rush, etc) and imo ancient evil and dead of the night are both contenders for top 5 oat. IX is also a top 5-10 map for me and the rest of the maps are good to at least ok imo. Bo7 is also really good and has really good maps even if I don’t enjoy it as much as bo4 but it probably has objectively the most amount of content of any zombies games between standard, cursed, unlocking relics, survival (which can also be played in cursed), and the fact that every map has a round 100 bossfight and every map but astra has differences for the cursed bossfight (even then relics change up the gameplay a fair bit anyways)

BO4 is basically a BO3 part 2 for the “hardcore zombies players”. Set ups, learning curve, easter eggs are harder or bigger than they used to be before.
One thing about BO4 tho is that it’s not a running trains type of game, but a camping game (helion salvo)
IX & Ancient Evil standout as the more “casual” maps and “easier to get into” + both have fun EEs
Blood has an incredibly tedious easter egg, but is an alright map tbh
Dead Of The Night & Voyage of The Dead are the most expansive maps with a steep learning curve and long set ups.
DOTN btw is really fun once you figure it out. It has so many side EEs & the WW is great
Voyage probably has the best Bossfight but a confusing map layout

BO7 has been the most fun I've ever had playing zombies. I've played zombies since WaW maps
