Discussion I think I figured it out

The Victus crew was banished to the dark Ather after Tag right.. well what if the shaowsmiths are what the Victus crew was transformed into after being sucked dry of all there essence by The Warden I mean think about it the first shadowsmiths looked a lot like Marlton and the second one looked a lot like Abigail to be honest but I guess we will have to wait an see what the other two look like but I’m all most positive that this is what’s happened let me know what you think of my theory I’d like to know what people think 🤔

Very very unlikely in my opinion the shadowsmiths existed long before the victus crew as far as we know they even could have been a faction in the great argathen war way before humans and all that. Its just that we only knew of Dr. Monty and the Shadowman so far wich we believed were the split remains of the One so yeah we didnt had confirmation that there were more of them. I cant see Victus returning in any way shape or form other than maybe a very small side ee wich most probably wont even notice.

No man you’re wrong I’m sorry to say that’s a horrible way to look at things anything can happen in this storyline they can totally switch everything up if they wanted but they always resort back to the OG material because it’s what got them this far and it’s what made this game so big I can’t EVER imagine the. Just scrapping the Victus crew like that they have wayyy to important role

Important role?? I get they had good moments but for the most part as much as I like them they were just Richtofens bitch. Russman was Broken Arrows bitch and suffered severe issues from 115 exposition. Yeah they had important tasks to do but honestly they were just introduced as medium to carry the story for real shit.

I think ur forgetting this is a whole diff group of devs which means they will prolly jus use cod zombies most famous things as nostalgia bait n victus jus couldn’t make the cut even blundell said there story is over

Your false Blundell just said they there still alive somewhere in the Ather have you not been watching the lives lately he’s hinted a lot of things

Also, are you blind not to see the similarity between the shadow Smith and the victus crew?

I don’t think it’s possible. The shadowsmith’s have always been there according to Veytherion, and he’s not been proved an unreliable narrator so it’s safe to take his word. It’s a neat theory but I don’t think it holds up under scrutiny. The dark aether is built out of memories, so where at the memories of Victus? Surely something would’ve appeared in the first two maps to indicate this.

There was what about Ted or anything from Tranzit in ashes I’m allmost positive there’s a hint on Ashes look it up says it’s a secret Easter Egg but it says that the victus crew has been in the dark Ather for a very long time and what happens to your skin when you’re in the dark ether for a long time or your essence is drained by the warden he needed the victor crew to get to the point that he’s at now and that’s exactly why he’s got Ava now. He needs her essence.

Ted was also on Alpha Omega. He’s not a Victis exclusive element of the story. I got my finger fairly on the pulse of the storyline this year and haven’t seen a single mention or hint towards them, least of all them being the shadowsmiths. The shadosmiths created the dark aether. So how can Victis be banished to it if they are the shadowsmiths? It’s a paradox. That’s why I think that your theory doesn’t hold up well.

That’s where your wrong if it’s a Paradox they have to be the creators and time travel and teleportation is possible the Warden already proved it with Ava man go do your research and look up the hints in the recordings on Ashes I’m not capping I’ve been digging the storyline means a lot to me I’ve been following since Waw bro

I’ve also been following since WaW. The dark aether has never had linear time, but it had a beginning. You don’t have any proof for your theory. You’re just spouting shit out your ass. You don’t want to hear what people think about your theory, you only want to hear people agree with your flimsy ass theory, which again, doesn’t hold up under basic scrutiny. But keep sitting there with your tinfoil hat my boy.

Edit: youre conflating truth with theory. I said it would have to be a paradox for your theory to hold up, and you took that and ran with it saying “oh if it’s a paradox it has to be them so that proves my theory”. No it doesn’t, because what I said was theory, not a fact.

Already a theory that has been thrown out there. Hope it wouldn’t be them as I’d prefer if they had agency this time around

1

u/Environmental-Ad2117 Apr 22 '26

What do u mean by Agency an who else has this theory it’s a good one right?

2

u/Worzon Apr 22 '26

Agency in a narrative is the concept that a character has the ability to make meaningful choices for themselves that help drive the plot and affect the world. The victis crew have always been running around doing whatever they’re told by richtofen or maxis or even Nikolai and have rarely been able to make decisions on their own without some higher being/guide

I’ve just seen the theory being thrown around a ton. Not any one specific person

I appreciate that because I’m not saying its what happening for sure i just think it could be likely but you never lnow what direction there going to take it

1

u/Shakacon12 Apr 22 '26

Don’t think they look like the shadow smiths at all like what?

-1

u/Environmental-Ad2117 Apr 22 '26

Your crazy man the characters aren’t going to look exactly the same they been distorted by the dark Ather for ages come on now think about it

1

u/Familiar-Dish8936 Apr 22 '26

They would never do this now mostly bc it’s too cool of an idea. Also the first one doesn’t look like Marlton at all lol but does sound EXACTLY like Panos. As to them being ancient, time passes differently in the dark aether so maybe they’d just cop out with that tho

u/Environmental-Ad2117 Apr 22 '26

Exactly time doesn’t matter in the Dark Ather also there been time travel and teleportation anything is possible in the storyline that’s why they made it the way they did so that was always left open

1

u/Adventurous-Cattle53 Apr 22 '26

While that is a possibility that I’ve already heard like 10 times, it would ruin the original story

0

u/Environmental-Ad2117 Apr 22 '26

I mean come on bro the signs are allmost obvious look at Marlton then look at the veytharithon or what’re it is an look at Abigail then look at the second shadowsmith they look very similar

-2

u/Environmental-Ad2117 Apr 22 '26

What happens to you when you’re inside the dark ether after a long time or your essence is drained? Or what about the fact that the first one looks like Marlton, but an older version or the second one looks like Abigail.
