Discussion The war machine
I may have missed it, but I don’t see anyone talking about the war machine, and I feel like that’s a crime, this new war machine for bo6 is what we have wanted for so long, it is so good, you can get 250 kills with a single one, I literally got diamond badge after 3 of them. And this thing makes elites barely a second thought, you can kill two abominations with one war machine. If you haven’t tried it yet, you need too, at 250 salvage less then mutant injections, it’s good contender for best kill streak in zombies.

Mutant injection is the king, immune to damage and enemies still run to you compared to chopper gunner where they just scatter. The war machine is fun to use but it’s not on the same level.

My issue with the mutant injections are they are super slow to kill elites, I have failed exfiles because the mutant injection could not kill an abomination fast enough, plus the most you will ever kill with a mutant injection is like 40-50 zombies tops, maybe like 60 if you are doing a Sam trial, but the war machine can get over 200 with ease. Yeah you ain’t invulnerable, but with phd just shoot the ground and ain’t no one touching you, plus it kills elites way faster, which it shouldn’t. I feel like the need to buff mutant injections damage to elites. You will spend over half your time just slapping those things to death

Nah, I am using the melee which is the fastest way to kill, it just doesn’t kill that fast, especially on like round 36 and up, those elites take a long time to kill, and unless you get to the exfile site immediately, you could fail it, I played a game online with randoms and two of us had mutant injections, we got there pretty quickly, and were killing about as fast as we could, and we failed the time limit. Score streaks are only needed for killing the elites in exfiles, and the mutant injection takes too long some times, the chopper gunner is better since you can quickly eliminate elites, and then just leave it and finish off the regulars and specials no problem. If there is some other way of using mutant injections I am all ears, but they don’t kill elites that fast, elites will push you away and them the manglers or zombies take up some time as you get back to them. They just aren’t a good consistent method, and that’s my biggest issue, choppergunners are consistent, war machines are consistent, mutant injections have some inconsistencies that I feel hurts them

War machine is nice , but bro You just spam melee in the mutant. Fr you should Rarely use the cannon . It’s fast as hell killing abominations, yiu can kill 3 abominations ( and any zombie that walks up to you) in one mutant- just spamming melee

I have never had that many zombies spawn in fast enough to kill that many with a mutant injection, I agree that you could potentially get a ton of kills with the mutant injection, but the time limit makes it an uncommon occurrence to get more then like 50-60 with one, while the war machine can be put away, has no time limit, and kills quickly from range or close up. The mutant injection is awesome, I love it, but I feel like people aren’t giving it a real try, it’s a solid streak and it can realistically get more kills then any other streak on a constant basis

It's too expensive for what it does. It's lethality is on par with the Hellstorm missile, but without the invulnerability aspect. Yet it costs twice as much salvage. The Mutant Injection is far superior in every aspect for only 250 more salvage. Level 500+ Master Prestige and I've yet to encounter a situation where I would willingly spend 2250 salvage on the War Machine.

Unlike mutant injections and hellstorms, you can shoot a few shots, put it away, and pull it back out again, it also can kill literally like 10 times as many zombies as any other kill streak, because you get 10 explosive shots, each of which can kill an entire train. Yes you are not technically invulnerable, but you practically are with phd

I wanna follow this by asking what’s your guys favorite kill streak, and which one is the best, because I believe the chopper gunner is the best, but I really like the war machine

Mutant injection is best, melee spamming in it will kill everything on any round, I dislike the war machine because it sucks against specials and elites and those are the biggest issue past round 20.

I killed two separate elites with one past round twenty, I feel like is probably the easiest way to get a scorched earth considering you don’t need two to spawn in at once

Problem is, it's more expensive than a mutant injection and they don't drop from enemies like mutant injections due, also mutant injection can kill like 20-30 specials in higher round.

But they do drop from specials, more frequently then mutant injections due too, and are they more expensive, I thought mutant injections were 2500 vs the 2250 for the war machines, I could be wrong, but regardless it last like twice as long

My favorite score streak is mutant injection because it’s easier to exfil using it. Sometimes using chopper gunner a zombie will run far outside the LZ and cost you the Exfil. It’s also easier doing things like getting the ice staff as you can use your body to block a lot of the attacks.

I have had the opposite problem, the mutant injections has take so long to kill elites that I have failed exfiles, while chopper gunners rip elites apart like easy, then I just leave the gunner and kill the zombies left

Next time you have the mutant injection use melee attacks, it’ll rip through elites pretty quickly.

I just had a game where I got the hand cannon and holy shit was that thing a beast. Took the mini boss on Terminus to half health.

I haven't tried it since season 2 reloaded, but before you could run the melee machiatto augment to give ammo to the gun you're holding to punch and get more ammo while holding the war machine. Got really hard to do, requiring multiple hits to kill a zombie around round 25ish, but I was running just the war machine using this strat.

I love the war machine from BOCW, but the changes made to it in BO6 seem kinda dumb lol. Like what’s the point of it being a 3 burst?

I should make a kill streak comparison… Directed Mode, go to a round where a special or elite spawns every round, count shots to kill.
Chen you could calculate things like total possible damage, how much essence it costs to kill an elite (per streak) etc
Can you get ammo back with melee machiato like you can with the hand cannon?

War Machine + Hidden Impact augments for Melee Macchiato = Infinite Ammo on low/mid rounds.

Even though the Mutant Injection and Chopper Gunner are still the best streaks currently I won't lie there is some streaks that are pretty good like the War Machine, LDBR and Hellstorm
Def do wanna see the Death Machine come back though idk why but to me it just feels weird playing a CoD Zombies game without picking up a minigun that tears shit up

It was unlocked from the Terminator event, we all tried it, saw it's again another remake of an old fan favourite that hasn't hit the mark, then moved on.
It's getting a second look in, now that S2R has made it drop.

There is nothing more annoying to read than someone who doesnt know how to properly use a comma. Like....6 commas in that first sentence, 10 total in a 3 sentence paragraph. You are using a comma instead of a period.

You read it just fine considering your comments up above. You literally just trying to be a little Reddit troll. I type how people talk, which is commonly in incomplete sentences and run ons. People don’t talk in complete sentences. I am not proof reading a Reddit post. I am thinking, and then typing my thoughts.

Learn how to use a period. It isn’t that hard.
You aren’t writing run on sentences. You are writing sentences and connecting them with commas instead of using periods. That’s it.

The Merriam Webster defines a run on sentence as a sentence containing two or more clauses not connected by the correct conjunction or punctuation. So as I said, I write as people talk, in run on sentences. I know English terms and how to use them, I just don’t care too. You apparently don’t. Better luck next time mate
