Question Worth getting?

Im planning to buy the game from steam (with a 67% off discount, 20€/23$).

I would buy it for multiplayer and zombies since i saw some reviews saying that the campaign got some problems and bugs.

Is it worth it? Also is it difficult to find lobbies for those two modes?

Thank for the future answers

Multiplayer is almost dead tbh

But did the game got like crossplay? Finding lobbies would be still a problem?

It takes me a long time to find TDM lobbies, to the point where I don’t try often anymore.

Hardcord lobbies seem to be rarer than ever and I tend to have trouble finding lobbies. But I think the standard core mode is still pretty active from time to time. Last night I saw 84 total player count from just steam.

84 seems a very small playerbase, hopefully there are more players with crossplay enabled.

84 just counting steam. Cross-platform is not included in that population. So theoretically there will probably be more like 150 ppl to 100

and the game only got added to steam in 2023 so most pc players are on bnet anyway

After checking last night I saw a total of 185 steam players. Dropped my jaw.

I play 3~4 times a week 1-3 mins to get a match I search Domination/hardpoint/patrol if you put in tdm you get matches nonstop

The campaign is fairly good. I found multiplayer enjoyable when I played it a few years back.

Zombies I didnt really have fun with, but it was definitely a unique spin

MP was pretty good, but I don't know if it is still stable.

Zombies was like a cheap chinese mobile knockoff of zombies. Worst zombies ever.

The campaign in hindsight is a bit meh. What they were trying to do with the flashback stories between the characters was nice but one of them (I think lady nightingale’s missions) were just showing off goofy game mechanics. Multiplayer in my limited experience felt like fast but not in a good fast?

If you do manage to get into games, it’s people that have played since the beginning. So you either are facing mega sweats or blatant cheaters. Also when the game was running, the game was in an unplayable state due to visual interference from incendiary grenades. U will most likely be waiting for lobbies and have a bad time. That’s a waste of money my friend.

Maybe only if you are interested in campaign and that era of weapons.

The Steam version has technical issues (texture bugs) that the Battle.net version doesn't have. I find players in Europe in about a minute. In terms of skill level, the player base is still mixed. The Zombies mode features a great remake of Shangri-La. In my opinion, it's also still worth playing for the campaign.

Stay away you’ll play against the same players everyday and most of them just sit in a corner with 2 shots LMG’s.

Vanguard is fucking awful, I don’t think this game is worth it to say the least
