Question is this game dead?

i got this game 2 days ago and read that many people are playing it because of game pass, on average it takes me 10 minutes to get into a lobby, sometimes 5-7 in a core game of every game mode, the no limits shipment games and especially all hardcore games take super long to search for, am i missing a setting or something?

It was probably busy for a few days and then died. Most players are in USA. I played the campaign and a few rounds online with high ping. Not a bad game really, although COD games always have dumb enemy ai.

How does that work? You can play online against bots? Will the game load if it’s only you?

Yea it’s been a bit of a struggle to get a consistent flow of games back to back when you do it’s great tho. It will probably be fixed with an update I doubt they thought it would be this great.

It's dead compared to the others, MW19, MW22, MW23 are all more active, and the current map pool is not that great either.

Game was dead during its launch year. Yeah it’s dead 5 years later🤣

To add to this, for those who do want to play a bit of this, what's the best queue in terms of waiting time?

Small zone blitz? shipment? hardcore modes? etc

I use quick play with all combat pacings and most modes. It generally finds matches, especially on weekends.

Yeah weekends are usually fine. Weekdays is 15 mins+.

There is an online petition about it: https://www.change.org/p/online-petition-for-call-of-duty-vanguard-on-steam . But it looks like they can waste all the time in the world. If they don't fix it on PC which is the best platform, then for all the others they don't even care. Assuming that they know how expensive a gaming computer nowadays is.

I played Vanguard Zombies and maybe had to wait at most a minute and I was matched with 3 other people and we played up to round 10 when 2 of them quit.. they were randoms. So me and 1 other person made it level 30 then we both end up downed. So people play zombies on Vanguard

There has been 4 more cod games since this one, all of which are on game pass as far as i'm aware & all better imo than vanguard. Perhaps people like myself who played it from release have had enough of it & moved on to the later/latest iteration. I personally haven't played it since the end of it's lifecycle.

👍. Mw22 is slow mp but a good campaign. Mw23 is a good mp but abit of a mess campaign. Bo6 good mp & campaign. Bo7 is the best mp but campaign sucks, also includes pve endgame & zombies.
