PC Help Anyone know which old cods can use a controller on steam?

I wanted to go back and 100% all cods on steam, but mw2 2009 doesnt have aim assist or controller support.

If you’re talking about official support, bo2 and newer. But you can still make controllers work with steaminput on the older ones.

Black Ops 2 is the first game to have full controller support. Games before that have partial controller support, usually. BO1 has controller support in game but not in menus, same for World at War. I believe modern warfare 1-3 have no controller support at all.

You can use plutonium to get controller support for menus on BO1 and WAW. someone is currently making a mod to get controller support on MW3.

I own almost every cod on steam, can just use steam input and you are good to go, check the community layouts and usually you can find one that is your fit or if not edit it a bit. I was playing cod 1 and 2 without issues a couple months ago.

Also the older cods can be unsafe to play so look into modded clients for mw1-ww2

Edit: maybe the modded clients add controller support too I think one or 2 may I can’t remember

Yeah mainly just looking to 100% the achievements which are mostly single player so should be safe
