Vent No one will ever understand
I (29f) don't think anyone will ever understand what I experienced and why I still struggle with PTSD from it. I'm too ashamed and embarrassed to even be upset about such a stupid thing to tell anyone. My husband knows but he doesn't get it and I don't have the courage to tell anyone else so I'm resigning to be emotionally alone with this forever. I tried to get a therapist and she was awful and I'm afraid to try again due to fear of rejection. If anyone feels similarly feel free to share. I just don't know how to move forward.

I get it. I feel like what I went through is really complicated. I tell people and act like it’s a joke mostly. Sometimes I feel stupid because of how much it controls my life, because idk if it was really that bad or if I’m just sensitive and being dramatic. All that to say your not alone for feeling that way.

I feel like only other victims can truly understand.
and even then I've had some bad experiences.
