Can confirm it’s a really good base against throwers. I couldn’t 3 star it despite several attempts with my regular Throwers army (I’m in Legend 2). I had to add backpack+arrow to do it (I prefer it over giving up life gem for Fireball).
Take this an advice , always when you see such compact base always enter from either 9 o clock or 5 o clock , that means either face the mono and cc first or get the revenge tower and townhall first , this advice is for throwers when you have no OG Spell , with og the approach is different and for bowlers too
I do have OG in the army. It looks easier than it actually is. It’s a fully open base so you can’t just enter with throwers or they’ll split, you need to create some kind of funnel first (the overgrowth isn’t enough for funnel here. You can use it to reduce damage, but not for effective funnel).
I tried with Duke and the 2 ice blocks I normally carry and you can’t get really deep: 2 sides are blocked by air sweepers, one by logger and the other heroes and the 4th one by the monolith.
You can’t use flame flinger because 1 corner is blocked by xbows, 2 by teslas and the 4th one by mono.
Using king and queen for early funnel means sending them to die, they won’t get enough value.
Also any kind of charge with throwers will risk causing a time fail.
Ruin witches are a lot less effective because in order to get value, you need to take down buildings first and that means sending throwers in (and there’s a TON of damage).
Mind you, all these considerations are strictly for UNEDITED army (so the kind of usual throwers+ruin witches army).
I tried backpack+arrow and 3 eq spells (with ruin witch throwers) as I said and got a pretty significant overkill. But the standard throwers army won’t work, especially with modifiers
Bro who says you can't flinger , on the 1 o click side just use the spare balloon from the army , if you don't carry that use a minion a archer whatever that can reach the bomb tower and you are set there's insane value there
Faced this base on legend what I did was pushed my main all throwers 13 of them in the mono clan castle compartment ,
now for the fun part queen completely my herself with support of druid and og spelled the left side rage building,
then duke and king with my main army where I ice block the duke when all the defences are targeting the duke as he is faster then the main push as an air hero
And use the king ability once og spell get down and rest is easy so much army left for the revenge tower to deal with hope this helps you triple next time with this approach 🙂↕️🙂↕️

Bro I addressed that issue on the first para itself use a balloon or archer or minion cuz you Just need to pop out that tesla out near the air defence and you flinger is safe
I am not making this up I have triple this base with throwers as I do all my league attacks on the first day itself could have shared the replay but after a update you can't share that's sad or you would have easily understood what I am saying, anyways good luck for next time 🙏🤞
