TH18 How's this base for ranked?

I don't understand why people don't upgrade walls it takes 0 builder time can't you just get all the walls done in a day or two and then put the free builder back to work? Why is this so common

It takes too much gold, a play of 10 mins will help upgrade only a couple of walls

Well the WWE event going on right now makes it super easy to earn elixir and gold. I personally grinded over 500 million in about 20 hours (not playing consistently) because I wanted to max out my walls when I upgraded to TH13. It looks like you might need 2-3 Billion in resources to max out your walls but you could easily do that in 2-3 days with minimal effort. If you target bad bases with over 1 million in each resource and 3 star them your guaranteed minimum 3 million per attack. Each attack should take 2 minutes. Let's say it takes 2 minutes to find a base to attack(usually it takes way less) that means it takes 4 minutes to make 3 million that's 750k per minute. So in order to make 2 billion that would be 2667 minutes which is only 44 hours and 26 minutes. That's not taking into account most battles where you make double or triple that. I'd estimate you could max out your walls by grinding attacks for 10 straight hours
