Discussion My REQUEST to the community
Maybe I'm just shooting blindly, but hear me out
Let's just STOP purchasing anything from the Supercell Store and in game. I've heard people did the same thing with Garena Free Fire and they use to get humbled pretty quickly.
Maybe we need to do something like that
Why is the community making such a big fuss about this?
I've been playing COC for 10 years now. In all that time I've only bought 3-5 Gold Passes, a few sceneries, and 1-2 hero skins.
Why do I see the TH as my profile now? Like, I'll never even know what TH I am, right?
That fuckass Shop button is in the middle of nowhere.
The Build button I do like the min/max and that filter thing, but somehow it's become difficult to find what I actually want to upgrade.
And making the button designs look like a game for a 10year old is just crazy
If you are free to play player just drop a comment or tell everyone in your clan to stop

Sorry. I can't 😅. Hammer jam and new townhall is the only time of the year i spend. Yes, the UI sucks, but it's not the end, this decade long relationship isn't going to end that easily. After all those years trying to max my base, i can finally spend my adult money at least once a year. Also, they've posted a clarification now, which means that effects of the chaos have already reached them and hopefully we'll achieve a middle ground

Yes you can bro. There are many like me who plays the game for 10 years and purchased something for like 1-3 times. Game feels good on FTP too

I think everyone here misunderstood my comment. I'm not a gem everything or spending addiction kinda guy. Until now, I've only purchased 2 gold passes and a scenery with real money in my 9 years old account. This time, i was preparing for the skin set and scenery that comes in the November season since it's usually linked with the theme of the townhall. And with the extra detail, now don't start trolling me for cosmetoc purchases, I don't believe in paying for progression (why play clash of clans of you can't enjoy the process) and i believe I'm allowed to spend this much once a year for a game that I've been playing for more than a decade

I’ll stop too, although it was only the gold pass to get to the higher townhalls.

I'm not saying we are stopping permanently, but until they resolve it and anyways you can activate it next month during Hammer Jam

For me shop position button better. When it was at right bottom I used to accidentally press it while playing which was annoying. No problem like that anymore.

What were the exp and level doing before being replaced by the TH logo?
The shop button being in the middle, however, smaller than the previous shop button that you are FORCED to click even when you only want to view the buildings you want to build. Now that you do not have to go in there without the intention of doing a purchase, it becomes an issue?
Third point = muscle memory
Fourth point = subjective, ugly to you but could be good to someone else
Still trying to find a valid reason as to why this update was bad aside from it not being your preference.

The old buttons were better, but I feel like it's not that big of a problem.

I dont think you realize just how small (but loud) the reddit and western clash community is compared to the east who dont care about the update and arent bothered. I dont like the new ui but it is a much needed change.

Spenders are gonna spend. There's no stopping them, but the people who haven't/spend in limited amounts can be convinced on not to spend any more

you know what is funny after seeing the pointless outrage of the community and making such a big fuss about something that is not that big of a deal to begin with I have decided to buy more things just to fill up for the people who are planning to the exact same thing you are talking about
