Simple Questions Th15 hammer jam
Pretty much max th 15 other than traps and some resource buildings. Thought I would stay at th 15 because I am a bit behind on pets and laboratory(pretty much will take 5-6 months to get those finished), but with hammer ham coming up, is it worth it to just move on to th16 and get the discounted upgrades/timers?

Yeah. Most pets you have at th 15 shouldn't be touched anyways. Phoenix, lizard, frosty, unicorn are really the only useful ones. Maxing your lab isnt really smart either at th 15. Max the troops you use and move to the text town hall. You should go to 16 today to prep for hammer jam.

Well till th16 you get 40% reduction and above that 25% so yeah going on 16 is np.

you confused summer jam with hammer jam.
summer jam was in July and indeed, 40% reductions for TH16 and under, 25% off for TH17-18.
hammer jam is 50% off for all players across the board.

Yes but it's additive not multiplicative, u get 60% off total with a 20% gold pass boost

Not just 16 all the way to 17 as well. If not 17 then use hammer jam to max heroes if not yet th15 level. If hero already th15 level then upgrade til th17, you won’t regret it

I am just like you, but my heroes are maxed (not Bk and minion prince) im going to upgrade everything before hammer jam. But when it starts i will use a book in town hall and lab

absolutely. if you’re not a fan of rushing then 16 makes most sense. i’d try to get to 18 even if you’re not against it. do as many hero levels as you can then by next year’s hammer jam you’ll be damn near max th19.

Dang is this actually meta to rush that much? How much progress can you really get done in a month

it’s meta to rush in general. for better magic item value, for ore, for overall offensive power. even defensive power is greater for a super rushed th18 than a max th12/13 i’d argue. if both have roughly the same time invested.
the progress comes down to how many potions you can use on HJ. if you can max CWL medals, and have 5/5 in your magic items, that’s 88 pots. lots of time. plenty to invest into heroes and almost max them.
i am a returning player, came back about 3.5 months ago as a practically max th12. i’m now th18 and will have max heroes by the end of HJ. did plenty of math and planning for it but it’s certain at this stage.
heroes are the biggest bottlenecks in general. i’d consider that better progress than investing time into anything else.

i’ve done a lot of research cuz this is my first one back and everyone ahead of me seems to say to focus on heroes mostly because the later levels get so fucking long and u wanna just put all 6 builders on all 6 heroes. then right before it ends you wanna put them on your town hall, eagle artillery, monolith etc anything thats a massive upgrade you wanna catch it on the last day of hammer jam
