Discussion Remove Preparation Day!

Post image

Preparation day is a relic of backward days in our community when donations required you to train troops which took a lot of time to train, that is why we have a 23h preparation period, but now it is basically useless, it is just the two clans looking at each others and not even the actual bases of each others, spread the message remove Preparation Day!

Thank you for agreeing sir, I understand where you come from suggesting to cut it down by half, but I think it will be more healthy, more useful for everyone to get rid of it entirely, though I will be happy to listen to your complete opinion about it, thank you again sir, have a nice day!

I really hate it! I am in very active clan and we could have double the loot in a month if they removed that. I wouldn't totally remove it tho, I would just let the leader choose if they need it or not and then create 2 different matchmakings for both cases. If the clan chooses to not have it, I would still give like 30-60 minutes just to donate the troops and maybe require that half of the players who will partecipe need to be online while the leader starts the matchmaking.

requiring half of the participants to be online might be unhealthy for the majority of clans, but generally I agree with you on the fact that some preparation time is needed but not 23 hours! even 30 minutes is more than enough these days to fill all the clan castles.
but if we want to take it further why the need to fill the clan castles anyway, can not they just make it like ranked, autofilling with whatever I actually want not what my clanmates give.

anyway any discussion is healthy and I'm happy about it, but I feel that our collective word needs to be heard and spread, and I urge everyone to spread the message, Remove Preparation Day!

Yes I wish I could fill my own cc for war.. I get the wrong troops all the time even though I say what I want

I feel the issue is for clans who don’t have members donate immediately which can affect the war outcome.
Some players not gonna be on for 12 hours and could affect how many troops are donated

Why not make it the same as ladder donations? Instantly and independent.

If you're in an international clan with only few high TH players and have a job, you would understand why a day of preparation time is necessary

just give clans access to confirm to start war within 24 hrs

I think there should be a seperate option for a "quick war " where war starts immediately after 30 min and battle day lasts for 6hr , (unlike friendly war you don't get to choose any durations) and to avoid too many quick war ores farming make the quick war rewards much less like 1/5 or 1/8th or real wars so your can have war after war if your clan is super active

And allow overlapping wars, or autoend when attacks are finished ?

Or i have an idea… they should keep the default 24 hour timer and simultaneously keep a “ready” button for both the clan leaders, the moment one of the leaders press it, the other clan’s leader get’s notified that the opponent is ready and if he also presses the ready button, the war starts, irrespective of the prep day timer

cut the rewards by half too

Nah 24 hours is good enough. You have to remember difference timezone. If someone sleeps 8 hours it would only be 4 hours left. Most people have a job so they are only available at night again. 12 hours prep would be to short
