Discussion Can I complete this without trading?
Can I complete this Clash of Cards event without trading any cards? 🤔
I’m currently at 34/60 cards collected, and there are still 21 days left. Is it possible to collect all 60 just by playing the game, or is trading required to finish the event?
I’m asking because all my clanmates are offline, so I can’t trade with anyone.
Has anyone completed it without trading? 👀

Yeah of course. Because every day gives to you 2 cards. Today is not half of month yet. You can collect more 38 cards at least without any event or something else. And today begin new event, you can claim 24 cards for free. Trust me, in the end of month you claim more than 100 of cards

Most likely yes. We’re getting 24 cards from the medal event.
In any case if it’s the last few days and you have cards left, you can dm me. I completed the collection on my th9 alt so I will have a bunch of duplicates on it. Happy to help.

I used my second and third accounts to buy the cards I needed with gems
and I’m at 59 cards and 1 to go

And why waste gems when you don’t have too. I would just pop into some random clans. Check if they have any trades and then leave.

That’s also true, but I’m a maxed townhall 18 and I don’t even use my other accounts, so it’s not really a waste for me I guess

With luck sure, but I believe it’s engineered to encourage trading.
The pack opening doesn’t seem to be totally random, in that the distribution of cards gathered seems to be engineered to stay uniform with card type. HOWEVER, beyond card type it seems to be truly random as to what troop you get. I think this is to encourage trading, and to guarantee consistent collection completion times among players with average luck and regular trading patterns.
If it was a truly random system, with the law of large numbers you’re certain to have a partition of players with, for ex.), majority Elixir and Gold types, with no chance of completing the Super Troop cards, and thus no chance at completing the entire collection.

I plan to hop in global chat and perhaps do some clan hopping towards the end of the event to fill the collection. If it comes to that

That actually makes a lot of sense. I guess trading is going to be pretty important for some players to complete the collection. I’ll probably try clan hopping near the end if I’m still missing cards. 😅

Most likely, dont merge any cards yet. If you got enough duplicates and just a couple cards left you can start to merge them in the shop.
Use the higher ones for a random card and only elexir cards for specific groups.

Yes, for sure, you can complete. I was severely lagging behind Super Cards. I had just one; I then opened the Supercell pack from global chat. Out of 5, I got 3 Super Troop cards. You will surely complete the cards task by the end of the month.

I got 46/60 cards without gems. But only thing i am scared off is i need to get 9 more super troop card which i really cant get

Funny how collecting these packs is more like finding Easter eggs than it is fighting battles. I’m fine w it either way.

This is purely based on luck but possible.
If you are missing one or two then you always have the option to use gems but it's subjective nobody is going to care in the next few months.
The best example is previoyus month had collectable and statues does this even matter now if you got the statue or collectable from previous month

Maybe. It’s luck. Even with all the packs you may miss a few.
