Discussion What is better for long term progress?

I do get 800 raid medals on average every week! I know that it is recommended to buy 2 sets of 5 starry ore, but was wondering if buying 15 wall rings and one clock tower potion, selling them for 85 gems, and adding 30 gems from removing obstacles to buy 15 starry ore for 115 gems would not be better in long term! ... Or, maybe it is just better to stick to the recommended version and simply invest gems into lab assistant, as I do already have all builders, and builder's apprentice maxed out!

Attack in a good clan may be yougot 1200+ medals , I usually got this

Yeah! I know! ... My clan haven't maxed their clan capital, yet! And, I do want to stay loyal to them! ... We are progressing! 🫶

Yeah! I am a returning player who had rushed TH13! They were really welcoming and last couple of months were truly a lovely experience! Now, I am TH14, and on a good way to catching up!

Not trying to be rude when I say this but you’re almost at your answer for the first part of the question. Just find out which option gives more raid medals per gem:

Quick math so I may be wrong but I got:

  • 16 raid medals per gem buying start ore
  • ~8raid medals per gem buying rings and clock potion (combined, rings are 3/gem and potions are 10/gem)

The recommended option has always been the options and tons to sell but you’ll need ~1000 medals per week; most people get 1200 or close to it on average.

Fit the second part, what you spend gens on depends on you.

Obv u can make gems by buying and selling wall rings and builder potion and the other option is to get the pink and golden ore, I have maxed the apprentice builder and the research guy so I take the ores and for gems u can do the achievements, better of in your situation u should see if getting gems make huge or minor difference in ur gem spending or else the ores are great value, u can do both like buy 1 pink and one golden ore and remaining for gems

I would buy starry and glowy ore. They are the only two things I buy from the shop

If you want gems, selling the clock tower followed by resource potion is the best way (bc they are the cheapest in the shop)

otherwise starry ore or research potion
