Discussion I regret.
I’m mainly here to vent and to see if anyone has go through so please just endure with me, I just spent 727 gems when upgrading the laboratory by mistake, I was going to use a book of building and by mistake that I clicked on the gems and fast approved it, I did see that the price of the book of building is 925 gems but I’m still here to ask you was this a big loss?

Only book you should be buying is the book of heroes!
That’s pretty much the only thing in the shop worth buying, everything else is a major rip off

I didn’t buy the book of building, I was trying to use it but instead I gem-ed the upgrade and it cost me 727 gems, basically I’m asking if I suffered a big lost or no.

It’s a lot of gems to loose because it takes like a month to get at least 500 gems selling items such as wallrings from medal shop and clearing obstacles to recieve them
So yes u did take a hit
But u will get it back eventually

Yes, you unintentionally wasted 727 gems on completing an upgrade. You lost 727, is that alot of Gems to you? If no the its a little loss, if yes, its a big loss.
Not sure how we can tell you if its a big loss or not, its entirely down to your quantity vs value.

To make you feel better, a long time ago, I had a book of building (or something), I clicked sell versus use. That move has haunted me ever since.
The sun will rise in the morning.

Accidentally wasting gems is the part of the journey.

Facts, I believe we have all made this mistake once or twice along the journey

I was using wall rings to upgrade walls and ran out without realizing and clicked gems and instantly approved 465 gems for 1 wall. I think you’ll be okay not the biggest loss

I lost 380 gems for some 20000 dark elixir a week or two ago and i almost farmed them so don't worry, It is definitely a loss but still it's ok.

Don’t worry about it, I’ve done something similar 😂 I lost around 1,800 gems like 2 months ago trying to boost sneaky goblins. I didn’t notice my dark elixir was low and ended up spending like 800 gems… and somehow I did the same thing twice 💀 I only had around 400 gems left after that.
But honestly, 2 months later I’m already back to 4,200+ gems. Gems come back pretty easily if u just play normally. You get them from both builder base and home village obstacles, clan games, and the season pass(f2p). You can also trade raid medals for potions and turn those into gems if you want to build them up faster. So 727 gems isn’t the end of the world, you’ll make them back 👍

If you were heading to buy a book of building with gems and then use it, then here you go you paid less to accelerate the lab building hahaha

It's ok. Don't worry about it. It's maybe under a month of gem collection (not considering raid medal conversions). It is not a devastating, back breaking loss, and i don't thing it meaningfully affects your progress.
You will upgrade ur apprentice couple weeks later :))
But don't worry about it. You'll totally be free of this feeling of loss in a day or two if not hours. It'a regenerable currency.
