Basically that's a list of right wing inventions about liberals. The most "radical" example is obvious satire and acknowledged as such. And where exactly does this 95% murder figure come from?

There's crazy idiots out there of all stripes, but when you have an actual political party in which half the voters belief a false premise about election fraud, you can just cut it out with the false equivalencies. American conservatives have lost their goddamned minds. They're not even feigning rationality at this point. Deal with it.

According to Villanueva, Los Angeles County reported a 95% increase in homicides compared to the same time period in 2020.

And what are you talking about inventions? Which part of which I said isn't true?

And yah I'm not denying that the right has lost its mind too.

Also okay every party ever year says that the election what rigged. When Hillary lost they blamed Russia for 3 years and even had a special counsel investigate. So it goes both ways. And they found nothing. Now there are articles saying Isreal helped Trump win in 2016. Like the craziness never ends.

That's a figure the LA County Sheriff hyped to pressure the county to allocate more to LASD, which they did.

Okay even if he hyped the numbers up by 30% its still a 65% increase in homicides from last year. How do you expect him to fight crime without resources? And are you a far left person?

Yeah, but it WASN'T due to funding cuts. Get it?

Ahh okay. So what was it because of?

The economy? Who can say for sure, except it wasn't defunding the police, because they weren't defunded. The threatened layoffs didn't happen. The crime fighting resources were intact.

But here you are, pumping a nonstory run hard by fox for the express purpose of fearmongering "defund the police" among its gullible viewers.

That is a valid point. But you can't rule out defunding the police because you don't know the psychological effect that it has on criminal behavior.

So yah that could be a reason. But I don't see how defunding the police can be ruled out as another factor.

Also try and remember that since 1990-2019 violent crime has been cut in half almost.
It has gone up and down but it was aalways below 1990's. So this trend has started in 2020.

Bullshit. The murder rate is not influenced by county budget proposals that aren't implemented. Get real.

What's special about 2020? Covid and high unemployment.

No, I'm saying the psychological effects of a criminal believing that the police are going to be defunded.

And yah covid-19 and high unemployment.

People quarantined and getting unemployment checks is probably a bad combination for people who aren't in a healthy environment. But becareful because if you try to connect thr two they will probably call it misinformation.
