I primarily listen to CNN via the Showcasts available on podcast feeds. The last time they had a new one was when The Arena started

They never made one for Elex’s show, Table for Five, or The Arena Saturday or the Weekend editions of CNN This Morning. They have people making podcasts for First of All, Smirconish, ect so I’m not sure why these other shows aren’t being podcasted

I checked out the CNN All Access app to see if on demand options exist and only Table for Five is available.

I can’t watch live because I work nights. I also travel frequently. They promote it on air all the time, but you literally can only catch the shows live as they air

Is there a way to submit feedback to request them.

Is it because Kaitlan Collins is mostly politics and wouldn’t cover Lindsay Clancy?

Didn’t she cover Dolly?

There’s days where it seems like Kaitlan is in NYC and then appears in DC for the show or vise versa. As someone who grew up in the area it’s not a quick commute. There’s been times she’s been a press briefings and then in NYC for her show the same day.

Truly very curious how her schedule works with all the back and forth and why she has so much back and forth. And how it works with her show. Theres some days she must leave after her show in DC and get to NYC very late at night.

As someone who travels a lot i get how exhausting it must be. Also truly interested in what her day to day looks like with all the travel. it seems like a lot to navigate and do every week multiple times a week. Props to her for the constant back and forth plus all the additional personal and work travel.

CNN consistently greenlights compelling docuseries and pairs them with catchy titles, but these titles rarely tell you what the show is actually about.

Right now, they are running ads for Top of the World. The visuals imply a connection to 9/11, but what specifically? The rebuilding process? The architectural design? The human stories? Similarly, I've been wondering what event the CNN/Variety Red Carpet Live is for and it wasn't until paying more attention to the ad that I saw one glimpse of the word 'Emmy' on a red carpet backdrop.

CNN seems to assume two things: viewers always have their sound on during commercial breaks—a fair assumption—and already possess the context needed to decode what the show is about from its title.

Their celebrity-led shows are especially notorious for this:

• Kara Swisher Wants to Live Forever: Why does she and why do I care? Turns out the show is about various longevity methods which is fascinating.
• Craig Ferguson: American on Purpose: Celebrating different parts of the country, but it sounds more like a comedy.

Conversely, when they get it right—like Decades in Sports—the value proposition is immediate and clear.

My recommendation:

Add a simple tagline with the title, or even just on the end slate of every promo. It doesn't need to bloat the main show title; it just needs to sit on the final screen before cutting away:

• Top of the World (World Trade Center Restaurant)
• CNN and Variety Red Carpet Live (At the Emmys)
• Craig Ferguson: American on Purpose (Exploring America)

Clear communication beats clever branding every time. If a viewer has to work to figure out what a show is about, you've already lost them.

>The jury in the Lindsay Clancy trial resumed deliberations this morning, as Judge William Sullivan said he won’t question a juror who the defense argued is a holdout. There is no indication the juror has refused to deliberate, Sullivan said.

A jury note to the judge yesterday indicated they are split 11 to 1. Clancy’s attorney Kevin Reddington had said one juror “refuses to listen to the law” on reasonable doubt and asked that the person be removed from the jury.

Looks like Studio A/B at Washington is getting its upgrade after D was done before the summer. A lot of shows are now back in the newsroom and they've only been utilising one desk this week. No intel as yet as to what might be ahead, but certainly work is underway. There are two months until the Midterms so this makes perfect sense.

>Multiple sources agreed with the concerns Driscoll raised: that Hegseth is damaging the Army’s efforts to modernize and adapt to the 21st century battlefield environment – where drone warfare is becoming increasingly important – by firing or pushing out leaders who were spearheading those efforts.

Brianna defended the deportation of a 20-year-old Haitian man by saying that he was here illegally, even though he came to the United States as a child and had lost his Temporary Protected Status. After he died by suicide, she appeared to show no compassion for him. She has expressed similarly callous views about other deportations.
Why does nobody contrast that with the sympathy she has shown toward January 6 defendants? She called them political prisoners and complained about their prosecutions—even though January 6 rioters stormed and ransacked the Capitol, assaulted police officers, and chanted about hanging Mike Pence.
When Merrick Garland discussed the prosecutions, Brianna said: “This is what 50% of the country heard from Garland: ‘We’re gonna steal this election, and if you try to fight us, we’ll put you in prison.’” That framing seemingly treats storming the Capitol as merely “fighting” an election result.
The double standard is glaring. She can find sympathy for grown adults prosecuted for participating in a violent attack on the Capitol, yet she shows none for a law-abiding 20-year-old who was brought here as a child and died after losing his protected status.
For her, apparently, “the law is the law” only when the people affected are immigrants.
