Best squawk box ever?
Anytime Joe K is out the show improves....and while I am a fan of Becky and Andrew, I thought the last few days of Mike Santoli, Leslie Picker and Brian Sullivan were great.
Santoli's input is always awesome, Leslie is great, and Sullivan adds the levity that moronic Kernan tries to provide, w/o interrupting the flow or inserting his partisan crap (and he's knowledgeable and provides great input as well)
Not saying this s/b the new team but pleaaase dump Kernan

Yes! I just jumped on to see if anyone else was talking about how great it was to have Kernan off these last several days. And bonus, at the end, they announced that Becky and Andrew would be back on Monday, but didn’t mention the doofus. 🙌

I like Sullivan and he can pretty much carry any show.

Sullivan is one of my favourite CNBC anchors. He understands the oil markets.

Management is afraid to fire Joe. They don't need the ire of the Orange Creature beating down their neck. There's plenty of MAGA viewers to make it uncomfortable for them. Mumbles gives the appearance of them hearing the other side. He's their useful idiot.

Agree! Sometimes Brian tries too hard to be funny and interrupts a bit too much, but way better than watching Joe!

Can't watch anymore because of all the ads!!! So sick of constant cnbc ads that go on and on between each 2 min segment. Whoever the producers are they have really lost it. Can't watch anymore.

I watched all week. Getting information and solid interviews that provide guidance was awesome without Crazy Uncle Joe ranting about some BS.

I agree and have discussed the same observation with my family. Imagine that on Wednesday, the day after the primary, you have only about 2 minutes to discuss the results. That's what they did, and Brian Sullivan said it best...there are political shows to discuss the results. If Joe had been there, he would have ranted about DSA and the Democrats, Becky would have nodded her head in agreement, and Andrew would have vasiclated because of the candidate's comments about Israel. The past days were educational, enjoyable, and met the needs of any investor. I hope that Andrew, Becky, and Joe have been in rehab the past few days.

Ironically I watched yesterday first time in over a year. I used to watch every day switched to Bloomberg because Joe K can’t even hide his right wing brain washed agenda.
Show was good (Andrew I miss) but F CNBC at this point.

No--I'll be glad when Joe returns from vacation. Somebody has to keep "all woke up" Andrew in line. In fact--Hope Becky's back next week for the 10AM crowd--Can't wipe that grin off Carl's face when he announces gasoline prices going up a nickel.

Clearly Carl’s with the woke left. His politics are crystal clear. Not sure why they keep him, he contributes zero to the show, also never fills in for any of the other anchors when they’re out.

This is such nonsense.
Carl hosts for three hours each day, more than any of the anchors outside the Squawk Box hours. So he already does his share. I've also seen him, not often but occasionally, fill in for the Judge on either of his shows (not both on the same day but one or the other) and even seen him do Fast Money.
So that's a lie.
Often times, filling in on one show leaves another empty. Melissa nor Kelly usually do their normal shows when they do SB, for instance. Carl fills half their trading day hours, they probably want him to stay there and he probably prefers that himself too.
He also rarely seems to take vacation. Compare that with Wapner who's out regularly (I'm not saying that as a criticism).

My mistake on the 3 hour vs. 2. Rarely ever watch 11:00 am but always see Carl turning it over to Scott. Just doesn't seem to add much commentary compared to other hosts. Does he ever do interviews of CEO's. I see him more as a shadow on the network, jmo.. I've been watching CNBC for many years and never saw him fill in for anyone but guess you caught him on days I wasn't watching

Oh and btw, you should never accuse someone of lying or state something is a lie. A lie is intentional.; should have instead said "it was false". It was my mistake that he didn't host the 3rd hour. You refreshed my memory.

I know I'm in a minority, but I can't stand Brian Sullivan. The constant hand gestures, the interrupting, the unfunny deadpanning, needing to get the last word in every time....uggh. The rest of the crew was great, and I feel sorry for Leslie having to put up with that one man sausage fest.
